Welcome to the Auto Draught Support Hub. Here you’ll find everything you need to get up and running, troubleshoot issues, and get the most out of your Auto Draught Tap.
If you can't find the infomation, send us an email info@auto-draught.com
The Tap works as a replacement to the traditional beer font or tap. Requiring a 3/16" connection, Power via a single-phase plug, and Wi-Fi connection for payments.
Below is a standard keg room set-up, but the device will work any pressured drinks line. So Keykegs and boxed drinks with pump will also work.
As with any draught line system you need to make sure that the keg is not over or under pressured and that temperature of the product is appropriate.
As with your keg pressures, do not exceed 45 PSI (3.10 Bar). If Exceeded this may prevent the tap for working and cause permanent damage.
Mounting the device
To mount the Tap there are 4 x M4 clearance holes for Screws on the base plate and 2 x Ø 50mm holes for inputs (Draught Line & Power) and outputs (Drip Tray Output)
The device comes with a mounting template printed in the box, but if you need another, you can download it here - Auto Draught Tap - Mounting Template
Alternatively, if you're using one of our temporary mounting plate These holes are drilled for you and all you need to do is screw the device to the mounting plate.
Install Height
The ideal mounting surface height is between 75cm and 120cm. If you are mounting to a surface taller than this, it it recommended to add a platform for users to stand on. If shorter, a taller platform to mount the device on is recommended.

As a licenced premises, you need to comply with the Weights and Measures Act 1985 and the Licensing Act 2003.
To comply with the Licensing Act the venue must prevent under 18s for using the tap and prevent someone who is clearly drunk from using the tap.
The venue can ensure compliance by having a staff member monitor the device as part of their regular duties. This could include a team member collecting glasses, serving nearby tables, working behind the bar, or carrying out general floor supervision. If the venue enforces age-restricted entry (e.g. 18+ only), active monitoring may not be necessary, provided underage access is already controlled at the door.
To comply with the Weights and Measures Act, draught beer and cider must be sold in fixed, prescribed quantities. The measuring equipment used must be accurate.
To meet these requirements, CE or UKCA-marked glasses corresponding to permitted quantities (e.g. 1/2 pint, 1/3 pint, 1 pint) must be used. The device should be set to 'Fixed Glass' mode and calibrated accordingly. The brim offset should then be adjusted to match the height of the measure line on the glass.
